<h1 style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Privacy policy</h1>Smalltrolls AS wants you as a user to feel confident that we safeguard your privacy and process all personal information in accordance with the law.<h2 style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Personal Information</h2>To use the online booking service, you need to provide your name, address, phone number, and email. When registering an order, it is also necessary to store information about the rental time and the type of equipment reserved/ordered. The service is restricted to users who are 18 years old. Your order history is stored when using the service. These personal details are used to deliver the service to you. We retain these personal details as long as you are registered as a user with us. The personal information we have registered is accessible and can be modified on your side. You can also contact us and request the removal of your personal information or unregister from our systems. However, if you do so, you will no longer be able to use the service unless you re-register.<h2 style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Personal Information to Third Parties</h2>Smalltrolls AS will not sell, exchange, or disclose your personal information. Order information is managed in a system provided by Sharefox.<h2 style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Payment Information</h2>When you place an order, your card information is stored with the payment provider Nets to fulfill your order. Nets securely and responsibly stores this information and is PCI certified. This allows us to handle changes to orders, cancellation of reservations like deposits, refunds, additional charges from the user (for late returns, damages, or similar), as well as prevent abuse and losses. Transaction details related to your order are stored, but not your card information. Transaction details will be stored as long as you are registered as a user of the service, as mentioned in the section on personal information.<h2 style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Use of Collected Information</h2>The personal information collected for these purposes includes both information you provide yourself (name, email address, etc.) and information collected through the use of the service, such as the equipment you rent and information about your location and technical details about your device and internet connection. The personal information may be supplemented with available information from third-party providers.<h2 style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Cookies</h2>When you visit our service, we use various technologies to recognize you as a user and collect data. For example, we use cookies to remember rental dates and equipment. Cookies simplify the use of the service and provide you with relevant information when you visit our website. They are also used to cache data such as available rental dates, prices, and similar.Through server logs and other tools, we may record information about the device and connection to our service, including the operating system, browser version, IP address, cookies, and unique identification files. This information is used for anonymous and aggregated statistics but can also be linked to your user account. This information allows us, among other things, to tailor the display of our service to the device you are using.

Smalltrolls AS, organization number 931 641 182 VAT, operates a rental service where businesses and individuals can rent equipment for communal use by ordering the equipment online and picking it up at designated locations or through home delivery.

1 General These terms and conditions apply to the rental and sale of goods and services from<a href="http://www.smalltrolls.com/"> www.smalltrolls.com</a> to businesses and individuals. Together with your order, these terms constitute a comprehensive agreement for the purchase.
&nbsp;
2 Definition of Parties The lessor or seller is: Smalltrolls AS and is referred to as "we," "us," "lessor," or "Smalltrolls" hereinafter. The lessee is: The person identified as the lessee or buyer in the order, referred to as "lessee," "customer," "you," "yourself," "yours," or "your" hereinafter. Rental objects refer to equipment and everything else that is rented out on smalltrolls.com. Delivery points/service locations refer to pick-up or drop-off locations.

3 Payment, Deposit, and Prices Payment is made through Visa or Mastercard online via our payment provider NetsEasy. We also offer Vipps. The lessee pays upon ordering, at which point the rental agreement is considered concluded.
Smalltrolls follows standard rental practices and also reserves a deposit amount as stated on the order receipt upon ordering. The reservation ensures coverage in case the customer returns the equipment late, damages the equipment, or fails to return it altogether. The size of the deposit varies based on the chosen rented equipment and is stated in your order confirmation. Smalltrolls has the right to use the deposit to cover rent and other costs as mentioned above and/or any possible claims, as per section 5 below.
All prices include value-added tax unless otherwise specified. The total cost of the purchase will be displayed before ordering, including all expenses related to the rental or purchase. In case of significant price errors from Smalltrolls' side on the website, Smalltrolls can unilaterally modify, delete, or reject orders even after the customer has received order confirmation or similar. However, such errors must be corrected, and the customer informed within a reasonable time after the error is discovered.

4 Condition of Rental Object Smalltrolls commits to delivering rental objects of high quality and in operational condition. The selection and availability of equipment available for rent depend on stock status. Color and, in certain cases, the model of the equipment received by the lessee may differ from the images on the website. Smalltrolls has its own procedures to inspect and maintain rental objects before and after rental.
During the rental period, you are responsible for any damage or loss to the equipment. Exemption from liability may apply if the damage or loss is due to technical faults or deficiencies. Therefore, the lessee must inspect the rental object before use and contact Smalltrolls if the rental object is not in the expected condition.

5 Damages All damages, technical faults, or accidents that occur during the rental period must be reported to Smalltrolls immediately. We will do our best to assist the lessee. Damages should be reported promptly to support@smalltrolls.com. This also applies in the case of theft.
If damages occur due to improper use, intentional or negligent actions, Smalltrolls may use the pre-reserved deposit and, if necessary, deduct additional outstanding amounts to cover costs related to repair, service, or replacement of the equipment. This also applies if the equipment is returned in a neglected state or is excessively dirty. Under no circumstances should the equipment be attempted to be repaired or parts replaced unless authorized by Smalltrolls. We always strive to provide the best advice and tips for using the rental object but are not responsible for the execution or for direct or indirect damages or losses arising from the use of the rental object, delays, or defects in the rental object. Smalltrolls assumes no responsibility for loss, damage, or death to any person in connection with possession, operation, or use of the equipment, including in cases of equipment malfunction.

6 Use of Rental Object Use of rental objects is at your own risk.
The lessee is responsible for using the equipment and accessories in a way that does not cause damage or excessive soiling. Correct and safe use of the equipment is the lessee's responsibility and/or as indicated on the lessor's website. It is the customer's responsibility to familiarize themselves with the lessor's usage and safety procedures before using the equipment.

7 Accessories Accessories must generally be purchased or rented separately when ordering equipment and selected based on the tasks the lessee wishes to perform on the website. The website also describes what is included in the delivery of the rental object. For accessories that are sold and not used, section 12 on Right of Withdrawal applies.

8 Lessee's Rights and Obligations The lessee must be at least 18 years old and is obligated to provide correct customer details when creating a user account in order to place orders and rent from smalltrolls.com. Smalltrolls sends messages to the specified email, address, and phone, and such messages are considered received and valid upon dispatch from us.
The user account is personal, and if you suspect that others have access to your account, you must notify Smalltrolls immediately. Smalltrolls has the right to freely reject, terminate, or suspend user accounts without notice or liability, including if the terms are considered violated.
Furthermore, these rental terms must be accepted before ordering on the website.
The lessee must return the rental object before the agreed-upon date and time expire and using the agreed-upon delivery method. The lessee is expected to stay updated on the normal opening hours of pick-up locations.
The lessee or cardholder authorizes Smalltrolls, through third-party payment solutions, to access credit card information for rental objects that are not returned, are excessively dirty beyond the normal, or are damaged. This authorization also includes the authority to charge the payment card for additional rent/claims for compensation if the rental object is returned after the agreed-upon rental period has expired or is returned with defects or deficiencies.
Delay in returning the equipment beyond 1 hour compared to the agreed-upon rental time entitles the lessor to one extra day's rent and an additional fee, currently 300 NOK, to cover Smalltrolls' additional expenses for late return. If the rental object is not returned after one day, Smalltrolls has the right to claim compensation for the agreed-upon daily rate as long as the equipment is still in use and has not been returned by the lessee.

9 Order Changes To change an order, contact Smalltrolls. The changes will not be valid until confirmed in writing by us. This is to ensure that the rental objects are actually available. If not otherwise agreed upon and confirmed, the rental object must be returned at the agreed-upon time. Extension of the rental period can be done before the rental period begins and/or during the rental period by changing the start or end dates.
Changes and cancellations of rental objects that affect the availability of the rental objects for other users may incur a change fee to cover the costs of rescheduling. The change fee is currently 300 NOK. All costs will be disclosed to the lessee before entering or changing an order.

10 Delivery and Return Delivery and return take place in the manner, at the location, and at the time indicated on the order confirmation. Additional shipping costs apply for home delivery. Where relevant, delivery will be carried out by a third-party courier service and will be scheduled using the delivery plans available to us through the courier service.
It is the lessee's responsibility to ensure that the provided address is accurate. If delivery or pick-up of the equipment is hindered (for example, if the lessee or representative is not at the delivery location at the agreed-upon time, or if the lessee or representative is not ready to receive the delivery at the agreed-upon time, or if we do not have access to the delivery location), we reserve the right to charge a fee for redelivery or repickup.
Smalltrolls is responsible for the products until they are taken over by you, which is when you have received the products in your possession. To receive the rental object, you must have your booking reference. The name you provide in the reservation must match the name on the ID card during pick-up.
If the delivery of the rental objects is delayed, we will inform you as soon as we have knowledge of it, along with information about when the delivery can take place, or if the product(s) are sold out or the rental object(s) are unavailable. Note that we are not responsible for any delivery delays caused by our third-party delivery provider.
You are responsible for the product until it is returned to us or our pick-up locations.
We inspect the condition and function of the rental objects and ensure that all parts are present upon return. Smalltrolls takes photos of the equipment before delivery in case there is a dispute about the condition of the equipment upon delivery. Upon complete delivery in contractual condition, the deposit reservation on the payment card is deleted. Goods returned early for any reason are not eligible for a refund for unused time.

11 Right of Withdrawal for Purchase The Consumer Contracts Act gives you the right to withdraw from your purchases. The right of withdrawal applies to goods that are purchased, not rental objects. The right of withdrawal requires that you notify us of this no later than 14 days after receiving the delivery (See the Consumer Contracts Act<a href="https://lovdata.no/dokument/NL/lov/2014-06-20-27"> https://lovdata.no/dokument/NL/lov/2014-06-20-27</a>).
To use the right of withdrawal, the product must be returned to us in nearly the same quantity and condition as you received it. If you try, use, or inspect the item (open packaging, etc.) in a way that goes beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics, and function of the item and this results in a reduction in value, we can deduct an amount equivalent to the reduction in value from the purchase price to be refunded. For example, if you try a wet wipe by opening the wet wipe package, the right of withdrawal does not apply.
The product must be returned to us in its original packaging and in a reasonable time. The easiest way is to return the product in the same box you used to return the rental object. In this case, there are no costs for you. If you choose to return it by mail or other methods, the product is your responsibility until it is received by Smalltrolls. You must provide your own suitable packaging and contact us before sending.
<h2 style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">12 Cancellation policy</h2>
Cancellation needs to be done no later than 7 days before starttime on your rental order.

13 Intellectual Property Rights Videos on YouTube are links to third-party services beyond Smalltrolls' control.

14 Privacy Smalltrolls processes your personal information in a secure data register to fulfill its obligations and safeguard its rights under the rental agreement. The personal information processed includes name, address, telephone number, email address, and order history. This history will be stored for accounting and other obligations. All stored information is accessible in "My Account." The lessee has the right to have their personal information removed from the lessor's systems, which is done through personal contact with Smalltrolls.
Your payment card will be stored as long as you have an active order. Storage of the payment card is done with our payment provider Nets. They store the information securely. Storage of payment cards makes it even easier for you to shop. Smalltrolls does not store credit card details itself.
Smalltrolls uses cookies, like most other online stores. Cookies store data in your browser so that the website recognizes you from page to page and visit to visit. This way, we can recognize who you are, so you can get accurate prices and easier logins. We also collect usage information to improve the quality of the service.

15 Applicable Law These terms are subject to and shall be interpreted in accordance with Norwegian law. The agreed-upon legal venue is Oslo District Court.

16 Changes Smalltrolls reserves the right to change or replace these terms at any time. The current terms are always available on Smalltrolls.com. If Smalltrolls considers the changes to the terms substantial in relation to the lessee's rights or obligations, the changes will be made available on Smalltrolls.com 30 days before they come into effect.
By using the service after the changes to the terms have been made available on Smalltrolls.com, you agree to be bound by the updated terms. If you do not wish to accept the new terms, you cannot use Smalltrolls.
